Usage of Riffle

2023-06-07 16:30:06

The laboratory bisector is a device for mixing and dividing materials, which has the characteristics of reasonable structure and convenient use. It has strong uniformity on the sample, which can improve the reduction efficiency and quality.

The dividers have two structural forms: open and sealed; There are two materials available: galvanized and stainless steel; There is a distinction between standard and non-standard. Today, we will introduce the usage of the laboratory's binary separator.

Install the splitter as required, place it on a flat platform, place the receiving hopper in the receiving position, and then use a shovel dustpan to evenly pour it into the upper feeding slot of the splitter. While tilting the material, move the dustpan left and right to ensure that the material can be received in all slots of the splitter. It is possible to continuously add materials until the receiving hopper is full, but do not allow the materials to overflow the receiving hopper.

The particle size of the reduced sample should be 2-3 times smaller than that of the divider groove.

When in use, use a material shovel to continuously move the material horizontally and evenly pour it into the feeding port. As the sealed type divider cannot see the receiving hopper, pay special attention to the capacity of the receiving hopper. Estimate the capacity based on experience and do not let the receiving hopper overflow.

After each reduction work is completed, clean it with a brush to prevent contamination of the material sample.
